libclipboard-perl software package provides module to use X selections (clipboard) from Perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libclipboard-perl
libclipboard-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libclipboard-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libclipboard-perl *
You will get with libclipboard-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
